Excel Latitude/Longitude Generator (GeoCoder)
The Excel Latitude/Longitude (GeoCodes) Generator works tremendously well for somebody who needs to generate the GeoCodes or Coordinates for a list of addresses. It makes generating those coordinates a breeze. A lot of the time different software need these coordinates to use in plotting and other mapping functions. The vast majority of these software (such as Salesforce) will not take addresses. My Excel tool does exactly that.
It allows the user to generate Longitude and Latitude Coordinates (also known as GeoCodes) directly into excel. Some of the benefits are:
The Excel Longitude/Latitude Coordinate Generator is the easiest-to-use tool of its kind. You can get your GeoCodes directly in Excel in three Easy steps.
STEP 1 - PASTE OR ENTER THE DATA LIKE YOU WOULD IN EXCEL INTO OUR TOOL
STEP 2 - CLICK THE "GENERATE" BUTTON
STEP 3 - WATCH THE TOOL GENERATE LONGITUDE, LATITUDE AND ALTITUDE DIRECTLY IN EXCEL
While the Excel Long/Lat Generator works on some version of Mac Computers, I currently do not offer support for Macs. As Macs use different VBA libraries, that can cause some conflicts with some of the functions in this tool.
All of our tools use the Google Maps API to generate results. This allows for accurate driving distance and time results and fast data. I have included some instructions on how to get a google maps API and what services to enable. Click here for more information on how to setup the Google Maps API Key.
You don't need to be a developer to setup a google maps api key. It takes about 5 minutes, and it is a simple as setting up an account with Google.
