How to check that your Google Maps API services are enabled
Your Excel distance calculator needs the correct Google Maps services enabled for its API key. Follow these steps to confirm the configuration in Google Cloud.
1. Open your Google Cloud dashboard
Sign in to the Google Cloud APIs & Services dashboard and select the project connected to your API key.
2. Review the enabled services
Confirm that the Directions API and Distance Matrix API appear in the project’s enabled-services list. These services are required by the Excel Distance Calculator.
3. Enable a missing service
If either service is missing, select Library, search for the service by name, open it, and select Enable.
